Yes. The Free Forever plan costs nothing and stays free for as long as you use it. There is no trial countdown and no automatic upgrade — it is a genuinely free tier with most of the available features, not a pared-down demo. Read more about the free plan.

No. You can create your account and start adding assets on the Free Forever plan without entering any card or payment details. We only ask for payment information if and when you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.

No. The free plan remains free indefinitely. We will never convert your free account into a paid one, and we will never charge you without you actively choosing to subscribe.

Yes. You can cancel a paid subscription whenever you like from the billing portal in your account — there is no minimum term and no further commitment. Your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which you simply drop back to the Free Forever plan.

Your data is never deleted. If you cancel or downgrade and your inventory is larger than the free plan allows, nothing is lost — your most recent assets stay fully active and older items are simply paused (still viewable, still exportable) until you upgrade again. You can export everything to CSV at any time. See how this works.

You can cancel at any time and you will not be billed for future periods, but we do not offer refunds for partial months, unused time on an open account, or upgrade/downgrade changes. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period. If you believe you have been billed in error, email admin@asset-giant.com and we will investigate. They differ mainly in scale — how many assets, team members, AI lookups, custom fields and storage you get — rather than which features you can use. Almost every feature is available on every plan; paid plans raise the limits and unlock client-facing public QR codes. See the full comparison above.

Yes. You can move between plans at any time from the billing portal. Upgrading takes effect right away and brings any paused items back into full play — everything you have already built carries straight across with nothing lost in the transition.

Both. Paid plans can be billed monthly or yearly, and choosing yearly saves you around 20% compared with paying month to month. Use the Monthly / Yearly toggle at the top of the page to compare.

Payments are handled securely through our checkout provider and accept all major debit and credit cards. Your full card details are processed by the payment provider — we never see or store them ourselves.

An asset is any individual item you track — a tool, a piece of plant, a vehicle, or a quantity of a consumable. Your asset limit is simply the total number of asset records in your account.

You will see a clear in-app prompt. For most limits you cannot add more of that item until you upgrade or free up space; for assets specifically, nothing is deleted — older items are paused rather than removed. Upgrading instantly restores full access to everything.

AI lookups identify and fill in asset details from a photo or a few typed facts. AI assistant messages are questions you ask your inventory in plain English from the dashboard. Both are counted per calendar month and reset at the start of each month.

Yes. Paid plans include multiple user accounts with roles and permissions so you control who can see and change what. The number of users depends on your plan — see the comparison above.

Yes. Every company’s data is fully isolated from every other company’s, and your inventory is private to your team. Read about our security and privacy.

We will automatically retry the payment and email you. Your account keeps working during a short retry period; if the payment still cannot be collected, the subscription lapses and you return to the Free Forever plan — your data stays safe throughout.

The Free Forever plan is effectively your no-pressure trial. It includes the real features rather than a limited demo, so you can evaluate Asset Giant properly before deciding whether a paid plan earns its keep.
