Editing the Asset Name

Learn how to quickly edit an asset's name directly from the header on the Add/Edit Asset page.

The name of your asset is the primary title on the Add/Edit Asset page. You can edit this name at any time without needing to find a specific field in a card.

How to Edit the Name

  • Navigate to the asset you wish to edit.
  • Move your mouse over the large title at the top of the page. You will see it becomes editable.
  • Click on the name.

  • The text will transform into an input box. You can now type to change the name.
  • When you are finished, either press the Enter key or simply click anywhere else on the page. The input box will revert back to a title, saving your change.

Note: This change is not made permanent until you click the main “Update Asset” button in the header. If you navigate away from the page without saving, the name change will be lost.
