Using the Asset Navigator (Previous/Next Buttons)

Learn how to use the Previous and Next navigation buttons in the header to quickly browse through your inventory without leaving the edit screen.

When you are editing an existing asset, the Asset Navigator will appear in the header. This tool consists of “Previous” and “Next” buttons that allow you to move through your inventory one item at a time.

How it Works

The navigator displays the name and thumbnail of the adjacent assets in your inventory, based on the date they were added.

  • Functionality: Clicking the “Previous” (the left-pointing arrow) or “Next” (the right-pointing arrow) button will immediately load the corresponding asset’s data onto the page.
  • Purpose: This feature is designed to save you time. Instead of repeatedly going back to the main Inventory Viewer to select the next item you want to edit, you can simply click through them sequentially.
  • Availability: The Asset Navigator only appears when you are editing an existing asset. It is not present when you are creating a new one.

This is particularly useful when you need to review or make small updates to a series of assets one after another.
