The price gap is the headline
EZOfficeInventory’s entry plan, Essential, is $63.55 a month based on 300 items — and the price scales with your item count from there. There is no free plan; you get a 15-day trial.
Asset Giant starts at £0 and our Crew plan is £19 a month for 500 assets and three users. Our Business plan is £79 a month for 5,000 assets and ten users. Flat per company, not metered per item.
To be fair to them: EZO includes unlimited users under a fair-usage policy, which is genuinely generous if you have a lot of people who need occasional access. If your constraint is items rather than people — which it usually is for a trades or field team — the maths lands very differently.

AI that catalogues from a photograph
Photograph a tool and it is identified, named and specced for you — the fastest way to build a register from nothing. EZO offers an AI chatbot and AI invoice import, but neither builds an asset record from a photo, and their AI checklists sit behind a separately-priced add-on. Ours are all included on every plan.
Label design and printing in the box
A visual QR label designer, batch printing to standard label sheets, and the option to assign pre-printed stickers. On every plan, with no module to add.
One product, not two
EZO splits the asset register and the hire business across two products: EZOfficeInventory for the register, and EZRentOut for renting things out and billing for them, which as at 4 August 2026 starts at $399 a month billed annually. We put quotes, invoices, credit notes, hire rates and UK VAT on the same £19 plan as the register — one login, one price, one place your kit and your paperwork both live.

They are a bigger platform and there are places that shows.
